Performance Parties
7+ years
In a Performance Party, the children are the stars, acting, singing and dancing their way to rehearse and stage a performance from a classic musical or show. In a 2 hour party, this culminates in a show for friends and family, so that the children are given a chance to show what they have been working on.
- Children work with scripts and backing tracks (or a piano if available)
- Each child is given a role within the script, as well as taking responsibility for contributing to the joint songs and dances
